Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions are also known as the Agreement between you and Sweety Lashes. Although every precaution will be taken to ensure your safety and well-being before, during and after your lash extension application and/or other beauty services at Sweety Lashes, please be aware of the following information and possible risks.

1. You understand that as part of the procedure, eye irritation, pain, itching discomfort, and eye infection may occur in rare cases. You understand that there are risks associated with having artificial eyelashes applied to and removed from your natural lashes. You understand that there are risks associated with having artificial products applied for lash lift and/or tint and/or waxing. You understand your skin conditions are good enough to have the waxing services if you take any waxing services.
2. You understand that this is a semi-permanent procedure, as your natural lashes will continue to grow and fall out normally, making touch-ups or additional appointments necessary to maintain the original look achieved by replacing the lashes that have fallen out. Most clients require an “infill” appointment every 2-3 weeks.
3. You understand that while every attempt will be made to provide you with the length and fullness you have chosen (or for my lash lift), your final result may not be what you initially envisioned due to your eye shape, the number of lashes, etc.
4. You agree to use only the recommended products on your eyelash extensions (or lifted eyelashes). You acknowledge that you should not pull, wet, or apply oily products on your lashes after they have been applied for at least 24 hours.
5. You understand that there is a potential possibility of allergic reaction– as with all cosmetic products.
6. You understand and agree that if you experience any issue with your lashes (or your skin after waxing), you will contact your technician and have free eyelash extensions removed immediately (or get advice for skin care after waxing), and consult a physician at your own expense.
7. You understand that it is imperative that you disclose all of the information requested. You have cited all conditions and circumstances regarding your health history, medications being taken, and any past reactions to products or medications.
8. You understand that additional conditions could occur or be discovered during the procedure which could affect your ability to tolerate the procedure.
9. You understand the service is non-refundable.
10. You consent to “before and after” photographs for the purpose of documentation, potential advertising and promotional purposes.

Acknowledgement and Waiver

1. Waiver of Liability. You understand that there are risks associated with having artificial eyelashes applied to and/or removed from your existing eyelashes (or doing lash lift) and that notwithstanding the utmost care in the application or removal of these products, there still exist risks associated with the procedure and product itself, which include, without limitation, eye irritation, eye pain, discomfort, and in rare cases, blindness when improperly handled. As part of this procedure, you understand that a certain amount of eyelash adhesive material will be used to attach the artificial lases to your existing eyelashes (or recommended artificial lash lift products applied). Even though the professional/technician may apply or remove my lashes properly, you understand adhesive materials (or lash lift materials) may become dislodged during or after the procedure, which may irritate your eyes or require further follow-up care, at your own expense to prevent damage to your eyes. You also agree that you will not attribute any liability to the professional/technician as a result of any procedures of lash extension/lash lift and/or waxing or the use and care of lashes for any appointment of using services with Sweety Lashes. You also agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the professional/technician from any and all claims, actions, expenses, damages and liabilities, including reasonable attorney’s fees which might be asserted against them as a result of your having the procedure performed. You understand that there are no refunds.
2. Care & Maintenance. You agree to follow the care and maintenance instructions provided by Sweety Lashes and/or the professional/technician for the use and care of your eyelash extensions/lash lift/waxing and that if any follow-up care is required due to your own mistake or negligence, or failure to follow the instructions, this will be at your own expense and risk. You understand that if you do any of the following, it may result in damage to your extensions or may cause your lashes to fall off prematurely. Knowing this you agree to follow these tips for best results. You will avoid using waterproof mascara, oily products, waterproof products or water on your eyelashes and not use an eyelash curler, perm or tint your lash extensions. You have been advised that using mascara on a regular basis will shorten the length of time your extensions will remain in place. If you experience any itching or irritation, you agree to contact your professional/technician immediately to have the lash extensions removed. You agree to not pick, pull or rub your lash extensions. You understand that you should not attempt to remove your lash extensions on your own or with any product, but that the procedure requires that your lash extensions be professionally removed.
3. No Known Medical Conditions/ Informed Consent. You have read, understood and completed the consent form in its entirety and truly you acknowledge that you have been advised of the potential harmful side effects (such as premature shedding of your eyelash) that the lash extension procedure or removal or lash lift and/or tint and/or wax may cause to those who have specific medical or skin conditions. You understand that the adhesives and adhesive removers are skin, eye and mucus membrane irritants and that in rare cases persons may be allergic or have hypersensitivity to synthetics. You understand that the procedure requires that you lay still for up to 90 minutes or longer with your eyes shut and that if you wear contacts, you must remove your contact lenses for the duration of the lash extension application or removal or lash lift and/or tint. You further state that you have no known medical condition that might be aggravated by the procedure or any medical condition that would prevent you from complying with or heeding the professional/technician’s instructions or these warnings.

If any action is brought to enforce the terms of this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to its costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. This agreement will remain in effect for this procedure, and all future procedures conducted by Sweety Lashes. For any changes in taking eye medication and/or eye/eyelash and/or skin conditions, you understand that you need to notify Sweety Lashes in writing.

You are over 18 years of age and consent to the agreement and treatment or have a parent with you who consents to this service. You read in English and understand that this consent agreement is legal and binding. You have read and fully understood all the information in this agreement.

By using any services at Sweety Lashes, you confirm that you have read and understood the above statements and agree to them.
